Hello! My name is Tanya and I welcome you to my leadership e-portfolio.As of the date of the post, I will be graduating in FOUR short weeks! Wow. Time has flown by and I cannot believe that the end of my college career is so near. I've met some amazing people, have participated in some amazing things, and overall, have grown so much and am so much closer to becoming the leader that I want to be.
One of the reasons why I was so excited to partake in the pilot program for the Husky Leadership Certificate is because completing this semi-functions as closure for me. I can look back at my best and worst experiences and measure just how much I have changed for the better. There is a lot of emotion vested in this portfolio, so I hope you can find some value in the experiences and insight I share.
Leadership is a journey and it never ends. Albeit cheesy it is very true! Although my time at the University of Washington is ending, I know that I have so much more opportunity laid in front of me because my past experiences have enabled me to prepare for such. I will be joining the AmazonLocal team as an Account Executive this July and will potentially continue my startup, Sleeve Up!, in my spare time. Who knows? I for sure don't. Not quite yet.
